We’re now 3 months into my experiment of holding a 45min Zoom AMA for paid subscribers every 2 weeks, and we’ve had a blast so far. One of the strengths I’ve learned to lean into is that I’m at my best when riffing aloud on topics near and dear to me—and it’s a distinct pleasure to get to riff on the wide-ranging questions raised by some of the most thoughtful, inquisitive readers of this newsletter.
Here’s a small sampling of topics riffed on in recent AMAs:
Common psychological struggles when deciding whether to sell a business
How to figure out if you want to have kids
The future of therapy in the age of AI
Common self-deceptions of founders (both earlier- and later-stage), and how to see your way through them
How I manage and prioritize my time as UT faculty, founder coach and therapist, writer, and mother of 2 (short answer: not that well :D, but I’ve still picked up some useful tactics and perspective along the way)
What I learned about the state of Silicon Valley culture during my recent trip to SF
Best books/resources for honing interpersonal skills
Paid subscribers get access to the playlist of all previous AMAs, in case you’re curious to hear my thoughts on any of the above. Or you can just join the next AMA and ask for a recap!
